We provided media support for the Street Child World Cup in Rio de Janeiro. This included multi-camera filming each of the competition’s football matches.

For two weeks the team filmed, edited and animated, turning out a daily highlights package. We also filmed interviews and events throughout the event, producing a film each day that highlighted a specific aspect of the competition. One film focused on the girls’ competition and the challenges that the players faced in their lives; another told the story of the Candelária massacre.

We uploaded the highlights and features daily to provide competition updates while drawing a focus on the serious issues that street children face. These videos were picked up by traditional media in countries around the world.

We also designed the competition’s website and maintained it during the event with highlights, results, tables, and other tournament information.
