Nine Beats, a collective of creatives, asked us to recreate their web presence. We designed and developed a highly configurable website to showcase their music, videos and images.
In redefining the site’s look we were inspired by some of their recent print work. We balanced bright blocks of neon colour with the visual space to let the collective’s strong imagery stand out, and used subtle animations, low-key textures and understated typography.
We built a custom WordPress CMS that allows Nine Beats to create dynamic page layouts, showing off a mass of different media. The site also includes a shop and digital downloads.
