The London Institute for Contemporary Christianity were launching a new five-part resource and came to us with a specific brief to create five short animations as an introduction to each section.

It quickly became clear that the content, style and branding of these animations needed to flow into the supporting digital and print material, such as a leaders’ guide, a participant guide and promotional flyers. Taking on the expanded brief, we co-ordinated our animation and digital design teams to ensure that there was a consistency of style and content throughout the final product.

An interesting thing about this project was the willingness of the client to let the brief evolve over the first phase of the project, which gave us the freedom to try a range of different creative approaches to the animations. This ultimately resulted in the illustrative style of the animations playing a more central role in the whole resource than had been initially planned with assets used across animation, print, website and other digital media channels.

Journey Pack

We designed a colourful companion workbook to accompany the animations we created for LICC. It features scenes from the animations, bold icons and clear type design.
