Resources for Autism approached us to create a video showing what life is like not just for those with autism, but also for their carers and families.

They were keen to show that as a charity they support all sorts of people affected by autism. Having previously used only live-action talking heads, they asked us to explore a narrative animation.

We recorded the experience of Conor’s mother in her own words and, working with animator Daniela Sherer, used a combination of hand-drawn illustration and digital animation techniques to create visuals that brought her personal story to life. Resources for Autism used the video to raise the profile of their work and help increase fundraising.
